We met him at his home in Ashkelon on the Mediterranean coast north of Gaza. It is a good understanding of all aspects of Sinai - in the topography, climate, water resources. We started a conversation with a discussion of my ideas about the route of Exodus (Fig. 98), as well as my conclusion that the Israelis are in the central plain of the peninsula, through the passage, which is now called the Meath-La Pass, where in 1967 there were fierce battles between Israeli and Egyptian armies (photo 37). I said I would like to fly through the Mitla Pass, or Pass Guidi.
Then we switched to a discussion of the Mount Sinai and its possible location. I presented all the arguments of other researchers who indicated the most likely place for the central plain, and then decided to "lay out the cards on the table." I opened the briefcase, drew out a copy of the newly published "Twelfth Planet" and explained the theory annunakov. Dov Meron was more delighted than shocked. There is only one mountain, meets all these criteria, he said and pointed to the front we have a large map of the Sinai Peninsula.
It was the same mountain, which pointed out my research!
